What you will learn

You do not need to program to get great results from AI. This course gives you a clear way to understand, instruct and check AI tools, whether you are just starting out or already use a chat assistant every day.

Core skills

Understand what AI can and cannot do, and the difference between predictive and generative AI
Write clear instructions with the Role, Context, Task and Format framework
Check, improve and safely use AI results, and direct AI agents with the right guardrails

More details

This is practical knowledge for your everyday work. Across nine short chapters you move from how AI works to the tools that make it useful: a framework for clear instructions, strategies for harder problems, a cycle for improving weak answers and the basics of AI agents.

Why this matters

37%

of organizations see at least some effect of AI on their profits, although nearly nine in ten use AI regularly. The difference lies in how well people use it.

Source: McKinsey, The State of AI, 2026

You will learn what drives organizations to adopt AI, how to spot the tasks where it helps you most, and which risks and rules you need to know. A real case on tracking competitors with AI brings the tools together.

The course is designed for managers, professionals and everyone who works with information. No technical knowledge or programming is required.

The course takes about two hours in text and audio, is fully self-paced, and comes with lifetime access and no prerequisites. Pass the short final exam to earn a verifiable certificate.

What we will cover

9 focused chapters that take you from how AI works to the methods you will use every day, each with practical examples.

Chapter 4 of 9The R.C.T.F. Direction Framework

3:20 / 6:00

A vague request gets a vague answer. In this chapter, you learn a simple framework that turns any request into a clear instruction.

Four parts of a clear instruction

Say who the AI should be, what it needs to know, what it should do and how the answer should look.

With examples from everyday office work, you will see how the same task gets much better results with a few extra lines.

You will leave with a template that you can use for your next email, report or analysis.
