Working Student – Community Management / Customer Care (English) based in Berlin, Germany

 

The International Business Management Institute (IBMI) is a continuing education institute that offers online courses in the fields of business, management, economics and governance. Since 2018, IBMI provided online courses to 90,000+ users from 85+ countries.

We are a small team based in the heart of Berlin with a unified vision of changing the game in the elearning industry. And we are now looking for an inspiring, engaged and motivated working student as Community Manager / Customer Care Manager.

What you’ll be working on:

Customer Care (50%)

  • Answer customer requests by email (no phone calls)
  • Guide our customers with regards to product information, payment, and claims
  • Update our help center with relevant information about frequent questions

Community Management (25%)

  • Manage social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Publish engaging content on social media
  • Follow up on messages, mentions and comments
  • Monitor mentions and feedback on third party websites

Copy Writing and Content Creation (25%)

  • Proofread and edit existing content (website, newsletters, online courses)


What you’ll bring to the team:

  • You should have good communication skills and enjoy helping customers. Experience in customer service is beneficial, but not required for the right candidate.
  • You learn quickly, are flexible and can adapt to a changing environments. You can work on projects independently.
  • You are resistant to stress, reliable and always remain calm and friendly even in challenging situations. You proactively address issues and always look for customer focused solutions.
  • You have a very good command of written English (native speaker preferred). No Germans skills required.
  • You are computer literate and comfortable working with a variety of IT systems. Working knowledge of WordPress and Excel are a plus but not required.
  • You are a full time student and currently enrolled at a German university.
